This cell surface molecule is involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD4. The 15-5-5 antibody crossreacts with the H-2Kd and H-2f haplotypes. However, reactivity to other haplotypes (i.e., a, b, p, q, r, and s) has not been observed. Moreover, this antibody has been reported to be cytotoxic to H-2Dk cells.
