OX40L is constitutively expressed by splenic dendritic cells and can be upregulated on splenic B cells via stimulation with LPS. Expression of OX40L has not been detected on rat peritoneal macrophages, resting or activated T cells. The interaction of OX40 (CD134) with OX40L has been implicated in T cell-dependent humoral response. ATM2 inhibits the costimulatory activity of rat OX40L transfected cells for anti-CD3-stimulated T cell proliferation and cytokine production.
